T.P&C.A. Dept. of MITGI is a self-contained focused area, headed by professionals with proven track records in corporate world. This dept. operated with two fold focus i.e. augmenting internal competencies by fostering contemporary grooming of students and by enabling industry to identify and absorb intellectuals with requisite technical & managerial skills. T.P&C.A. Dept. is continuously striving for 100 percent training and placement of students in suitable organization and also caters to the need of self-employment through technical & managerial assistance thus enabling the future entrepreneurs to start their own ventures.
The T.P&C.A. Dept. arranges regular industrial visits for the students these industrial visits are crucial for understanding and imbibing the culture of the industry where the students associate their academic input with the industry objectively. MIT, Moradabad in its nascent phase has in-fact set a trend to be emulated upon and the growth in employment witnessed through campus recruitment demonstrates the confidence of our stakeholder.
Industrial Training is an essential component in the development of the practical and professional skills required of an Engineer and an aid to prospective employment. Many employers regard this period as a chance to vet new employees for future employment.
All students are required to undergo ‘Industrial Training’ for a period of 4- 6 weeks after 6th Semester.
Industrial Training Objectives:
a) To expose students to engineering experience and knowledge. Which is required in industry, where these are not taught in the lecture rooms.
b) To apply the engineering knowledge taught in the lecture rooms in real industrial situations.
c) To use the experience gained from the ‘Industrial Training’ in discussions held in the lecture rooms.
d) To get a feel of the work environment.
e) To gain experience in writing reports in engineering works/projects.
f) To expose students to the engineers responsibilities and ethics.
g) With all the experience and knowledge acquired, it is hoped at the students will be able to choose appropriate work upon graduation.
