I feel delighted to introduce the Department of Applied Sciences and Humanities which plays a vital role in an engineering college catering to the teaching of basic Sciences and Humanities courses for engineering students of all branches. This department works as a strong fertilizer to develop a base for students’ over all personality and skills. This department is the backbone of all disciplines in Engineering and Technology. It is the foundation which evolves the critical thinking, ability to convert information into knowledge and power of evaluating the things technically of each and every student in an exceptional way. Engineering study is to develop a well built foundation of basic principles of various disciplines such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Communication Skills, Sociology and other courses in the mind of the learners, so that they move forward in future with sound knowledge and proper training of fundamental engineering skills.

For the remarkable growth of students, we are committed to deliver an outstanding graduate program with well designed curriculum that ensures an interdisciplinary learning for educating the person, mind, body, and soul. Our Laboratories are very well established to motivate students to learn and comprehend beyond the syllabus which definitely develops extraordinary prowess in them.

The Department also promotes research and innovation in new and existing areas and emboldens the academic interaction with excellence of the faculty and students at national and international levels. Most of the faculty members of the Department are engaged in R & D activities and get their research articles published in the journals of national/international repute.
